The M1 Thompson when selected in the menu

"United States Submachine gun known for its ergonomics, compactness, large .45 ACP cartridge, reliability, and high volume of automatic fire." - Official In-Game description.

The Thompson Submachine Gun is a noteworthy submachine gun in Call of Robloxia 5. Prototypes were first made in 1918, in response to the German's MP18. However, the gun was not finished when WW1 ended on November 11, 1918. The gun was finished in 1921, as the M1921. The gun fires .45 ACP at 1200 RPM. However, the later M1928 variant lowered the fire rate down to 900 RPM. When the United States entered WW2 in December 1941, they used a much simpler version of the Thompson; the M1.

Statistics Edit

The Thompson has a frighteningly fast time to kill, but is balanced out by its relatively low capacity magazine. Here are the statistics:

  • Deals 20-40 damage (24-48 damage with Stopping Power)
  • Fires at 666 RPM (799.2 RPM with Double Tap)
  • 20-round magazine (doubled to 40 rounds with Drum Mag)
  • 2 second tactical reload (3.5 seconds with Drum Mag, 1 second with Sleight of Hand, 1.75 seconds with both)
  • 3 second empty reload (5 seconds with Drum Mag, 1.5 seconds with Sleight of Hand, 2.5 seconds with both)

Attachments Edit

  • Aperture Sight (low zoom optic designed for CQC)
  • Drum Mag (doubles magazine capacity at the cost of reload speed)
  • Flash Hider (firing your gun will not reveal you on the minimap)
  • Suppressor (quieter gun; firing your gun will not reveal you on the minimap)
  • Flashlight (illuminates dark areas while blinding enemy players)

Notes Edit

  • It, along with the PPSh-41, are the only two guns that can accept the Drum Mag attachment.
  • It features an indent on the right wing of the rear sight.
  • With the Drum Mag equipped, the first half of the bullets will not have the darkened background. however, the last 20 rounds will have the darkened background.
  • While the Type 100 is essentially the same gun with a 30-round magazine, the Thompson can equip a Drum Mag, unlike the Type 100.
  • There was a cut attachment named the '1928', that gave the Thompson a more open rear aperture sight, a top cocking handle, and affected the recoil the same way a grip would.
